KAIVALYDHAMA:
Kaivalyadhama, USA formed in 1997, is a public charitable organization, built on the foundations of Kaivalyadhama, India.
Kaivalydhama, India is a pioneering research institute, founded by Swami Kuvalayananda in 1924. Through rigorous scientific investigations, the institute has been instrumental in introducing scientific support for the Yoga of Sage Patanjali. Kaivalydhama, India has its own hospital, publishing center, research department and teacher training institute. It has been training government accredited teachers in India, to teach in public schools and colleges, for over forty-five years. Now, for the first time, this training comes to the US.
Kaivalyadhama, India is a research institute and therefore does not endorse the practice of one style of Yoga over another. The institute strives to meet the textually traditional definintion of Yoga by incorporating Patanjali’s Yoga philosophy into every limb of Yoga practice.
INTRODUCTION:
After years of pondering, deliberation and Vitarka (fruitful discussions) of the devoted philosophers scientists and psychologists working at the Kaivalyadhama, it was decided that we should introduce an On-site Teacher Training Course in Yoga Certification in the US.
PURPOSE OF THE COURSE:

off-site DVD and/or internet courses along with time for personal practice, reading and research. After graduation, 150 hours of teaching experience needs to be logged before certification can be awarded.
NATURE OF THE COURSE:
The course is mainly on-site and intensive in nature. It is available to men and women of all races, religions and nationalities. Three courses are offered online, via DVD and /or e-mail. Students have the option of completing the online and DVD course-work before the commencement of the Yoga Teacher Training Course.
