Tiwariji will share insights and techniques researched at the Kaivalyadhama in India. Traditional pranayama will be practiced twice daily. The ten types of pranayama will be taught and practices developed specif for each individual in the calls. According to the Patanjali, the practice of pranayama reduces stress, controls the senses, clears the perception and develops intuition and understanding. The writing of Patanjali and the Hatha Pradipika is a classic yogic text in five chapters which outlines food, asana, pranayama, Kriya, Mudra, Meditation and Samadhi and addresses the specifics of corrective therapies for a disturbed life.

Pantanjali Yoga Sturas define Kriya Yoga as tapah svahyaya,isvara pranidhanani,kriya yogah or self discipline, self study and reverence for truth. In this workshop we will take up this practice in the form of advanced pranayama, cleaning Kriyas, Asana, Meditation, chanting and studying the Hatha prakipika. Yoga aims for total personality integration by harmonizing body an mind like the strings of sitar.
In this workshop you will practice Asana and Pranayama as researched and practiced at the Kaivalyadhama institute in India since 1924.
Dr. Dubey will also inspire you with discussion on the history and evolution of Yoga, the Yamas and Niyamas and the impact of diet on the yogic lifestyle. The will also be hands-on session on yogic- vegetarian cooking. Friday evening lecture included.
